In accordance with fire laws, allpreoscenium theaters are required to have some sort of protection for the audincein case of fire. for many years that protection was in the form of a fire curtain made of asbestos or other incombustinle material. lacated in front of the act curtain, the asbestos curtain slides in metal grooves (smoke pockets) on either side of the prescenium , forming a flameproof seal between stage and aŭditorioum. We have been excecute the fire curtains with steel construction and rock wool and sheet metal. or with incombustinle textile curtain.
